travelogue - rosendal 2014

On our second day in norway we headed out on a fjord tour to a small town called Rosendal. It was a 2 hour ferry ride out to the town where we had a few hours to explore before heading back to Bergen. It was stunning and far better than we had imagined. Daniel never had the chance to visit Rosendal while living in Bergen so we were both able to enjoy the town with fresh eyes. Honestly, I was just thrilled to be on the water. But it was so much more than that. We drank in the air until it filled our bones. It was the best escape we could have found from the busy world around us.
